Azerbaijan’s customs committee creates board of appeals
A board of appeals was established at the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee, the Committee said Feb. 8.
The board, consisting of seven people, is headed by Rza Hasanaliyev, chairman of the Committee.
The new structure was established to ensure transparency and impartiality during consideration of complaints from entrepreneurs and protecting their rights and interests.
The board of appeals was set up to execute Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's decree “On Establishment of Boards of Appeals in Central and Local Executive Bodies in Azerbaijan”, dated Feb. 3, 2016.
